ABOUT THE CONFERENCE
North Dakota quickly is establishing itself as a center for excellence in technology, aerospace and defense innovation. Three installations — Grand Forks Air Force Base, Minot Air Force Base, and the North Dakota Air National Guard Hector Field in Fargo — host critical missions that are driving new technologies and unique partnerships. Minot is home to the 91st Missile Wing and the 5th Bomb Wing, both of which make up key components of the nuclear triad. Grand Forks is home to the 319th Air Force Wing, which hosts unmanned aerial vehicle reconnaissance missions, high frequency global satellite missions, and the 10th Space Warning Squadron just north at Cavalier Air Force Station. Fargo hosts the 119th Air National Guard Wing providing trained and ready airmen executing world class MQ-9 precision attack and reconnaissance missions. Supporting these missions requires new thinking, so community, industry and military leaders are forging innovative partnerships that can be models for other communities and installations across the country.
Join us in Grand Forks for a two-day forum that will bring together key leaders from DOD, North Dakota defense communities, the state and industry to explore the issues and innovative partnerships that are defining the future of northern tier defense communities.
