CALIFORNIA DEFENSE LEADERSHIP SUMMIT
HOSTED BY: THE CALIFORNIA GOVERNOR’S MILITARY COUNCIL
AUGUST 13 - 14
Building Community Partnerships for National Security Resilience
Uncertainty in Washington, perpetual budget difficulties, procurement process experiments, environment challenges and the emergence of a new technological era of military defense are having lasting impacts on defense communities and military installations. Leaders across the country and on both sides of the fence line must partner together to find solutions and ensure that their communities remain resilient and ready to support the needs of our military. But the challenges – and solutions – that work in one place may not work for all communities.
In California, the economic development, infrastructure, and defense support needs can be just as unique as the culture, people, and national security missions that call the state home.
ADC’s Regional Events Series is bringing community and industry leaders from across California and the nation for a two-day event to gather intelligence on the latest activities in DoD and on Capitol Hill, and the impact they have across California. This is also a chance to hear from other nearby community leaders facing similar challenges and share best practices.
Registration for the California Defense Leadership Summit starts at $100 for community members, and is free for DoD personnel, federal officials, and state employees.
